In a friendly place somewhere in the suburbs of Tunis, three friends: Abdallah KHLIF, Mohamed KOTTI and Saif BATKA are used to go there to get away from everyday life, to exchange their ideas and expertise and to explore ways and means to ensure access to viable business opportunities likely to interest them.

The meeting place is idyllic and successful people have habits that lead to success. It did not take more than that that, little by little, seed the idea of a common project of scale that the three friends carried out with the success that we know. Thus was born in April 2014 the fast food project called PLAN B, accompanied by a specialty based on bread "ciabatta" newly introduced in Tunisia. This crisp bread made on wood fire is recognised for its delicious taste.

All the ingredients are there to contribute to the realization and the success of the newly launched project. Mohamed KOTTI a fine strategist, provides the group a valuable local whose strategic location will prove of great interest for the success of the project whose communication component was entrusted to Saif BATKA known for his strong sense of networking . The accumulated experience and professionalism known and recognized of Mr. Abdallah KHLIF have been used to contribute to the success of the project which sees the implementation in October 2014 of the first PLAN B in the northern suburbs of Tunis in the locality El Menzah 5. The latter will be the exclusive property of Mohamed KOTTI who will devote himself to other professional activities just like Saif BATKA who has awarded himself the new PLAN B located at the city Ennaser in the northern suburbs of Tunis.

The year 2015 will be a decisive turning point which will mark for a long time the evolution and the future of the PLAN B company. Thanks to the success met with its customers and driven by the ambition to develop its activities, Mr. Abdallah KHLIF now sole master on board, has adopted a franchise development model that consists of delegating to other independent companies called franchisees, the operation of new outlets while avoiding their financing on its own funds. The franchise of the PLAN B chain stipulates that the centralizing company set up for this purpose undertakes to provide, for remuneration, to all nodes of the network, its brand, in this case the PLAN B label, the know-how and permanent support. In specefic terms, the centralizing company provides all PLAN B restaurants with raw material supply, support and supervision in terms of management, marketing as well as commercial and technical development.

In addition, Mr. Abdallah KHLIF, always concerned to continually improve the processes underlying the activities of the centralizing company and to ensure the permanent satisfaction of his customers, is committed to comply with international standards by deploying standards in which have relevance to hygiene and food safety (ISO 22000), and quality management (ISO 9001).

The implementation of these standards and the use of related management tools have contributed to the improvement of the quality management system and the processes that composes it: quality control of local and foreign purchases, control of all the supply chain from the acquisition of the products until their sale and the satisfaction of the final customers. It was followed by the establishment, in 2016 in the locality of Aouina, of a third point of sale PLAN B relayed by four other new points located in Marsa, Nabeul, Sfax and Tunisia Mall 2 respectively. The exceptional success of these outlets enabled Mr. Abdallah KHLIF in 2018 to launch five (05) others located in Boumhal, Sousse, Djerba, Lac 1 and Mall Manar City.

The fast food chain PLAN B has now become one of the most important and recognized brands for the quality of its products both nationally and internationally and negotiations are under way with investors from North African countries for the development of the PLAN B chain in the immediate vicinity of Tunisia.
